About Us
Acorns Preschool Roughton is a charitable organisation that provides quality care and early education through play for children aged 2 to school age.
The preschool has a dedicated team of qualified staff who work in conjunction with the EYFS guidelines and offers indoor and outdoor activities, including woodland learning.
Opening Times
We are open Monday- Friday during term time from 9am - 3pm.
Our morning sessions are from 9am-12pm and our afternoon sessions are from 12-3 pm.
Funding Options
Funding options are available from the term after a child's 2nd birthday. You can get up to £2000 a year to help with childcare costs.
We accept all funding methods including Tax Free Childcare and Working Families Enhanced Entitlement. If you would like to top up with additional sessions or would like your child to start from their second birthday our fees are £6 per hour.
Our Aim & Mission
Our goal at Acorns Preschool Roughton is to provide high-quality childcare in a safe, secure, and stimulating environment. We encourage children to develop self-esteem and independence, and support their potential through play and adult-led activities.
Our activities are planned to each child's interests and stage of development within the EYFS.
